I've stayed at Casa de Milagros multiple times and each casita I have stayed in was more beautiful than the last. The casitas were spacious, comfy and accommodating. The host, Mary, was a pure delight! She went above and beyond in putting thought and effort into making my stay a dream; from assisting me in my local kayaking and hiking accommodations to giving me great recommendations for local eateries in town. I will 100% be returning to this magical place this spring.
Casa de Milagros is an amazing place situated right on the Brazos River and nestled in tall shade trees. The accommodations and amenities are impeccable in a setting that is easy to relax in and just sit and let the world go by while taking in all that God has created. Long evening walks after fine dining close by in Glen Rose, are a must. Easy trails with opportunities for bird watching or just taking in the scenery, this place is a must.
Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because we arrived on a bike and the roads are steep in places and gravel. Besides that, it's a great place to stay. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and friendly owner. We would stay again.

Pure serenity. I have retreated to Casa de Milagros but alone and with others. I've been in January and September. I brought my nonprofit board on a retreat to the Casitas and it could not have been more wonderful. Everyone had an amazing time. The owner is hospitable and goes over and above to make sure all who stay here are taken care of. Every one of my board cannot wait to return this fall.
If there was a 10 star rating I would have given it that, this place was amazing! The location was perfect and the cabins OMGosh they where clean as can be, comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay and then some. The most important thing was that the owner was very responsive everytime I reached out. This place is a hidden gem!!!!! You will not be disappointed.
Very clean and well appointed cabins. We stayed in the Sage cabin, and the owners had stocked it with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The common area had a gas grill, an outdoor table, and a great firepit to enjoy the evening under the stars.
